Celebrating a Life Well Lived
Debi was an amazing person who didn't let chronical illness stop her. Celebrating her memory.
Today is 6 years since Debi passed away. As I think back on all we went through, today I am looking through some pictures remembering the good times. Debi was an amazing person, she had a difficult life, but still lived life to the fullest.

As her service dog, we was by her side, and definitely lived up to his name which means “encouragement”. He loved having his picture taken. When she had me take a picture of one of her crochet creations, he had to be in the picture too!
The RV
In 2006 her immune system became compromised. Since she couldn't get out around people, we bought an RV. We traveled much those next few years taking her bed wherever we went.
Her Crafts

To keep her mind and hands as active as possible, she did LOTS of crafts. She also got involved with some online groups that did crafting for charity. Doing what she could for others was a huge passion of hers!
She didn’t let the illness keep her from traveling. Her crochet creatures often had backpacks so they could travel too!

The crafting grew into a business that she often ran from her bed. We eventually opened a store in Woodland Park. It didn't last long, but this gave her something to keep her mind off of all the pain and difficulty of living with chronic illness.
Reading

Debi was an avid reader. She loved reading Christian fiction and historical novels so that she could learn about other places. One of the highlights was when she got to meet one of her favorite authors, Debbie Macomber.
As a childhood cancer survivor, and dealing with a chronic illness for most of her adult life, she truly lived life to the fullest, this her motto!
